Benefits of Membership

• A listing on the SKBN Membership Business Card or Brochure
  This includes your name, business name and phone number. These are distributed by the members to the public and other business people.
  
• A listing on the SKBN Website (www.skbn.org)
  This listing includes all contact information for your business.
  (name, business name, address, phone numbers, website address, email address and photo.)
  
• A service directory listing so site visitors can find you though the service you provide.
  
• The opportunity to:
  • submit articles about your industry to the site.
    
  • Submit a short bio on yourself and your business.
    
  • Receive and give referrals from and to members
    
  • Share a membership in the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce
    
  • Share materials and information about your business with other members of the group.
    
  • Gain information about the South Kitsap Business community.
    
  • Express pride and leadership in the community. SKBN is involved in learning about and participating in community development.
  • Speak at an SKBN meeting to talk in depth about your services or products.

SKBN has a noncompete agreement (only one member per service will be allowed into the group.) A waiting list of those wanting the place of a current member will be kept and called when if a member chooses to no longer participate. (I.E. if you are a bookkeeper, no other member providing bookkeeping services will be allowed to join the group.) Where services overlap or you provide several services, you may need to choose only one service.

Membership Dues and Costs

A one time cost of $15 for an SKBN card case and your website listing.

Dues: $25 a quarter plus the cost of your breakfast each week.
